It all started when my daughter began competing in figure skating. I decided to go to design school to make costumes for her. Once I completed school, everything fell into place. I started making dresses for her and other local skaters. Then one day, my daughter started complaining about her padded shorts I had bought her. They were not giving her enough cushion and they were moving around on her. So I decided to play around with designs and spoke with a lot of skaters on what they needed in protective shorts. After some hard work, I came up with this product. After wearing these shorts, it brought out my daughter’s confidence knowing the falls would not hurt and helped her grow in the sport. People asked me where I got these pads, and the rest is history. Adults and children across the country are wearing these padded shorts.
